Day 98
Don't know what I'm really doing with these drawings, I'm certainly not being very observive about it. I guess I'm trying to put things into practice and using the photo as a reference to practice some illustration style. I know I still have so much to learn, but I figure next year in college the teachers will come out with the whips again and guide us on the rigth path.
Let's leave summer to make mistakes and learn bad habits again :D

Day 88
I think I'll move back into figure studies tomorrow and start using the anatomy book as reference material when I do my conceptual work. I'll definetely go back to these studies but it's more important for me to make suggestions about the human anatomy rather then be a complete expert on the matter. Anyway today I did my drawings in the sun (in the park) so I wasnt too focussed, but done is done!

Day 84
So, now the next step is to apply that newfound knowledge to your studies of life (or the lazy man's way by pictures :D), I might actually head out and do some drawing in a coffeeshop later on. I really love what this guy is doing, check it out! Again if anybody wonders where I get my references, I found them on this site.
I actually read an interesting article by some animator that it generally takes about 10,000 hours of practice to master something. Now that is just an average, so I might be one of those people that need 20,000 hours lol On that note I better do some more work!

Day 83
Ahaaa, back in full form! Yahoo.
So I decided to jump past the head in my anatomy studies and tackle that damn clavicle and scapula! It's something I'm really bad in conceptually, so time to start making some sense of that area. Now for you who are interested I'm using two anatomy books at the moment:
- Dynamic Anatomy by Burne Hogarth( I think essential for any artist wanting to do conceptual work)
- Anatomy for artists by Barrington Barber, but to be honest you could use any book with illustration of the skeleton and muscles.
