50 Pages HANDS - COMPLETE

So I filled 50 pages of hand studies, those are A4 pages, so I usually did 2 pages in my A5 sketchbook for every page. Am I better at drawing hands? Maybe..who knows. Definitely not worse :P

First are some 30 second timed poses:

then untimed drawings of my own hand:

Anatomy Studies

This is me drawing along with the videos from this course on creature teacher:
https://creatureartteacher.com/product/drawing-human-anatomy/

It's a really great course! very simple and well explained!

Terribly copied from my end but for me it's the best ay to process information.
Some people just watch a video, but at least for me that doesn't stick. Best way is to watch it multiple times, draw along, draw it from memory, apply it to reference, and come back again next year to repeat it :D

Arm Studies

These are from the book by M Mattesi (FORCE Anatomy), highly recommended.

Leg and Hip Studies

The most enjoyable place for me in drawing is anatomy / life drawing. So I've decided to brush up on anatomy again :)

ANATOMY: PECS

Did some life drawing on Tuesday which showed me that I really have been getting stale these last couple of months. It motivated me to start drawing anatomy again during breaks at work, but I got confused about the shapes, so time to go back and re-visit some anatomy. Even if it's only 15 minutes of study, it's better than doing nothing :)

-Based on the book by Michael hampton.

Quick Study

Quick study is better than no study, even if it's bad :P

1) study from image in 'realistic' proportions
2) trying to draw the muscles from memory...russtyyy!
Same model, just drawn in a more pushed style.
