177: On the road sketching
Was walking home and I saw some photographers gathering up at the red carpet @ Savoy Cinema in Dublin. I'm still getting the hang of doing sketches like this, but I figure I need to fill up a few sketchbooks before I know what I'm doing :P
To give it some context is was the premiere of a new film: I was sketching at the sides.

176: Life drawing at Sol Art Dublin
I didn't particularly thought it was a good session, but keeping the commitment to weekly life drawing!
As usual we started out with 1 minute warm ups:
I don't do long drawings anymore, I think I maximum spend 10 minutes on a single drawing. SO I end up doing multiple drawings per pose sometimes:

174: Life Drawing Dublin Sol Art
Alright! I think I'm getting better than in form...finally getting some results I want!
The posterboy for tonight was this drawing I did with colorpencil and some watercolors on top:
1 min warmups:
The following are all drawings of the same pose (total time of 90 mins) from different angles:
I didn't time the drawings, some took longer than others and in general I prefer the quick ones:
EDIT: Just to had to share this. Shaun Bryant and Steve Silver giving me thumbs up on my work. Yeah that's cool!
