 I've let my drawing practice slip, time to bring it the sketch book more often. Doing more artist studies (bad ones..to uphold tradition! :P)

I've always loved Samura's gestural work on Blade of the Immortal, although how I discovered him was by random volumes of Blade of the Immortal on sale on a second hand shop. So only years later I tried reading from the start, and I didn't really like his artwork/ storytelling in the first volumes. But it's very interesting to trace his development as an artist. He's also a huge inspiration from guys like Otomo (Akira).
